Your host and hostess, Bryan and Jessica Sampson, eagerly await your visit at The Yorkshire B&B. The Sampsons were married in 1982 and have two grown sons. Unfortunately, they have no grandchildren, yet. Bryan runs a Handyman service and is the pastor of a local church here in Danville. Jessica works for a local accounting company. They enjoy entertaining guests in their home.

Having a Bed and Breakfast is something that they discussed since the early days of their marriage. In November, 2004 the Sampsons moved to Danville, Illinois from Baltimore to save a neglected 1917 house in the center of town. In 2007 they opened the doors of The Yorkshire B&B with only one guest room. Today there is two. Even though they have accomplished so much with the home, there are still things they would like to do. Their goal is to open a third room early next year.

Living in an old home keeps this couple on their toes but Jessica has the designs and Bryan has the skills to make the old lady a welcome retreat to Danville’s visitors. They have the before pictures available if you are interested in seeing them.

The Sampsons both have an interest in gardening and love to relax with the Yorkies on the porches and watch the birds and other critters.

Smoking is allowed outside only per Illinois state law.
No pets but well behaved children are welcomed (B&B is NOT childproof).
Breakfast is included with price of room (unless other arrangements are made).
11% tax is added to the room rate.
We accept only cash or check.
We are flexible with our check in and out times.
Minimum two nights stay may be required for holiday or special event weekends.
We are not in the office 24/7, phone calls and emails are usually returned in the evening.
 
Since we are a small Bed and Breakfast with only 2 rooms available please make your reservations early. If you need to cancel, please give as much notice as possible.
